New Website Coming in November 2024

We’re excited to announce that the Georgia Department of Education will unveil a brand-new website in November 2024! The new gadoe.org will enhance user experience and provide easier access to resources, information, and services for educators, parents, students, and stakeholders across Georgia. Here’s what to expect on the new platform: 

 

  • User-Friendly Navigation: A more intuitive design to ensure you can find the information you need quickly and easily. 

  • Enhanced Accessibility: Improved accessibility features to better serve all users, including those with disabilities.  

  • Mobile Optimization: Seamless browsing experience on all devices – whether on a computer, tablet, or smartphone. 

  • Updated Content: Comprehensive, up-to-date information on educational policies, programs, and initiatives. 

  • Interactive Tools: New and enhanced tools to assist educators and parents in supporting student success. 

 

When the new website launches, some content you’re used to finding on gadoe.org may be found in a new location. Please review the information below to prepare for the new website experience. 

 

For Parents, Families, and Community Members: 

The navigation of the new gadoe.org is designed to be simple, intuitive, and easily direct you to the information you’re seeking. The site will also feature several pages specifically curated based on your connection to Georgia public education, highlighting resources for each group:

Do you have pages bookmarked from the current gadoe.org? If those pages have moved to a new location on the site, the old URL will redirect to the new page. If the content has moved to another GaDOE platform, you’ll see an informative overview page highlighting available GaDOE platforms and frequently requested resources. 

 

For Teachers and School and District Leaders: 

GaDOE has worked to create an organized, robust information ecosystem for district and school leaders. Review the information below to learn where to access GaDOE resources, from standards to guidance documents. Note that when the new website launches in November 2024, some information you’re used to finding on gadoe.org will be available through the platforms below.

    Many GaDOE offices publish newsletters featuring valuable insights into statewide initiatives, success stories from schools and districts, and practical resources for educators through the GaDOE Community platform.

    A professional learning platform for school and district staff and education partners in Georgia, offering quality online courses. 

  • SuitCASE:

     

    Access always up-to-date, searchable copies of all Georgia K-12 standards.  

  • GaDOE Inspire:

     

    Find instructional resources directly mapped to Georgia’s K-12 learning standards.  

  • Fit Georgia:

     

    Fit Georgia is a state-developed fitness assessment designed to measure various aspects of physical health, including Healthy Body Ranges, Aerobic Capacity, Flexibility, Muscular Strength, and Muscular Endurance.
